"L'Art de Vivre", a French Art Retreat for women

May 19th to May 24th 2025

Join me in South West of France, Dordogne
during 6 days to explore and create art in the charm & beauty of the French countryside.

creating art where the old masters once brought their visions to life.

My name’s Naïma, I’m a professional artist from Bordeaux.

Born in Normandie,  I grew up in an environment that inspired some of the most well-known artists of history, to name a few: Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir…and where impressionism was born.

I visited at 11 years old the home of Claude Monet and it planted a dream in my heart that never faded. For as long as I remember, I have been creating, sketching, painting and spending time in nature, nourishing my creative spirit and growing into the artist that I am today.

What I want to share with you during this Art Retreat is the knowledge that I have acquired the past 30 years while visiting marvelous places where painters were once living and painting: First in nature and then chateaux, villages, gardens and museums.

How I became an artist and found my voice.

What I want to transmit are my techniques of plein air painting using watercolors and acrylic paint but most of all experience creating art in a peaceful and relaxing way, for your to reconnect with your creative energy, to be immersed in a place, to feel and to be able to translate that on a canvas.

What our days will be like: Enjoying time visiting old villages, finding inspiration, eating delicious French dishes, pic-nic… it will be a blend of how it is to live where I live and finding joy in creating art in a stressless environment. No skill required.

Finally, allowing ourselves to pause, slow down and share moments together.

This Art Retreat is an invitation into my own world, it will be intimate and very special because it is the first edition of l’Art de Vivre.
